Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy helps children and adults with mental, physical or social disabilities to live and function with more confidence and independence.

The primary purpose of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. This goal is achieved through training of meaningful activities. Together with the patient, therapist creates individualized treatment plan, taking into account patient’s capabilities, goals and wishes.

Occupational therapy is suitable for people aged 1,5-2 years and older. Therapy is usually conducted individually or in some cases in small groups.

In our center, we offer the following occupational therapy services:

    • Evaluation with LOTCA and Box and Block tests
    • Teaching and practicing activities of daily living
    • Developing, restoring and preserving functional capacities
